Sunday is still a lazy day, and as you know, it’s time for your almost-weekly Long Play.

‘Good Copy Bad Copy‘ is a beautiful round-up of the current state of copyright and culture.

The Danish documentary makers went around the world to examine the different ways how people are dealing with copyright nowadays.

The situation in Nigeria and Brazil is documented in terms of innovative business models that have developed in response to new technological possibilities and changing markets.

“A central point of the documentary is the thesis that creativity itself is on the line and that a balance needs to be struck, or that there is a conflict, between protecting the right of those who own intellectual property and the rights of future generations to create.”

Commonism is also the main topic to be discussed and debated over at this years Elevate festival in Graz, Austria, in November. There is a fair chance I’m going to check that out.
