Shocked to hear Marc Moulin passed away last Friday, at the age of 66, of cancer.

Shocking news indeed… i believe he passed away last friday, and today was his funeral… makes me think about the very thin line between life and death, and once again about those who previously left us. 66 is a young age to go, but i guess he left us many things to learn about and listen to, so thanks for that Mister Moulin, and may you rest in peace.

I met Marc once, very shortly, he signed my Sam Suffy reissue at that time.

A legend. Unknown to the general public. Next to Telex his latest work on the Blue Note label has always been amazing. Great loss…
