Almost there indeed: tomorrow is the opening night of an expo I’m participating in, at Lucy‘s, in Antwerp.

I wanted to show you some work-in-progress photos, but the on-point headquarters are still disconnected from the online world, and it would have been too much of a hastle really.

Besides, you can just come and check the expo tomorrow, and day after that, and after that…. until November 24th.

For those still not in the know, here’s a brief introduction, from Lucy’s site:

“An unhealthy coffee addiction resulting in periods of insomnia, which in time combined with an uncompromising just-let-me-do-my-thing attitude gave birth to a trademark style.

Faces marked by the tension of modern day life, balancing on the tipping point between the grime of the city and the frivolous facade of metropolis. Warm in their darkness, refined in their dirtiness.“

Come to think of it, it sounds a bit odd, doesn’t it?

Apart from that Zetka (Ghent) will present new work too. Zetka being: Bue, Kaiser, Pointdextr, Pest and Fiksit. And here’s what they’re all about:

“These architects of savagery aim to conquer new illustrated skies, graphic battlefields and interior dimensions. Their goal is to introduce a tornado to the visual landscape, like bringing titanium to a bronze age…drawing imagination from a terminal cartoon addiction, the infinite superhero galaxy and obvious tightness“
