

I’ve been telling myself I should start digging deeper into the world of afrobeat.
With its intriguing sound built upon repetitive rhythms and vocal chants it’s a musical genre still quite new and refreshing to me.
Looking for another long play to spice up your lazy day I discovered this brilliant feature on afrobeats most renowned musician/ideologist: Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
Mind-puzzling images of Fela’s live performing, his 15 women, and of the city of Lagos, a simply beautiful documentary, with shocking passages though, must-see material:
