Over the past couple of years, I’ve been doing artwork on the side. Some was used, a lot wasn’t. Now when Bonnefooi asked me to host their Expo Of The Month, I figured it was time to reveal a part of the oeuvre that’s been hidden under my mattress far too long, and show it to the public.
An unhealthy coffee addiction resulting in periods of insomnia, which in time combined with an uncompromising je-m’en-foutisme gave birth to a trademark style. Faces marked by the tension of modern day living, balancing on the tipping point between the grime of the city and the frivolous facade of metropolis. Warm in their darkness, refined in their dirtiness.
